Our Prancing Ponies

People sometimes assume we breed horses or ponies because of the name of our farm. We don’t actually breed horses but our farm was named partly in honor of our "Prancing Ponies" - our Miniature Horses and Mini Donkey and our full sized horses. They are our farm mascots and beloved family members. We decided to name our farm “Prancing Pony Farm” to give them a “job” as farm mascots. 😉 We also chose the name as a nod to “The Prancing Pony Inn” from “The Lord of the Rings”, which is a beloved book in our family.
